Rachel is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), and a Clinical Traumatologist (TITC-CT). She is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Brainspotting Therapy. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
Before entering psychotherapy, Rachel spent 10 years in the legal profession, gaining insight into the complexities of people’s lives. This experience shaped her belief that meaningful change and healing are possible when individuals are met with compassion, empathy, and non-judgment.
Her approach is grounded in experiential, humanistic, and psychodynamic models and is tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. As a trauma-informed practitioner, she integrates neuroscience-informed, body-based therapies such as EMDR and Brainspotting to support the processing and integration of trauma and emotional stress at a deeper nervous-system level. This work allows access to implicit, non-verbal aspects of experience—where traumatic memories may be held—supporting emotional regulation, adaptive processing, and lasting healing.
Rachel provides individual therapy (18+) for divorce/separation, co-parenting and parenting challenges, infidelity/betrayal, difficult life transitions, grief/loss, anger and stress management, anxiety, depression, low self esteem, and trauma/relational trauma.
She walks alongside clients through their challenges, creating a supportive space for healing and helping them move toward a life aligned with meaning and purpose.

Specialties: Couples counselling, women’s mental health, post-partum mental health challenges, infertility, PCOS, endometriosis, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, adhd, grief.
Relationships — whether with others or with ourselves — can be both deeply fulfilling and deeply challenging. I help individuals and couples navigate moments of disconnection, uncertainty, and change to find greater clarity, balance, and connection. Whether you’re struggling with communication issues, recovering from infidelity, managing conflict, coping with anxiety or depression, or simply hoping to feel more grounded and understood, I offer a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore what’s not working and move toward meaningful growth.
My approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing from evidence-based methods such as the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. This allows me to tailor each session to your unique relationship dynamics, balancing practical skill-building with deeper emotional understanding. Together, we’ll work to uncover the patterns that keep you stuck and develop new ways to connect, communicate, and repair.
In addition to relationship and emotional wellness, I have a special interest in supporting women navigating hormonal and reproductive health challenges, including PMDD, postpartum transitions, PCOS, endometriosis, and chronic pain. These experiences often impact emotional well-being, identity, and relationships in profound ways. My goal is to help clients understand and honor the mind-body connection, build self-compassion, and feel empowered in their healing journey.
I believe that both individuals and couples have the capacity to heal, grow, and thrive — even when the path forward feels uncertain. My role is to guide you through that process with empathy, honesty, and a steady presence, helping you build resilience, communicate more effectively, and deepen your emotional connection with yourself and others.
Change doesn’t happen overnight, but with commitment and compassion, it is absolutely possible. If you’re ready to take the next step toward greater well-being and or more fulfilling relationships, I would be honored to walk alongside you on that journey.
