She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice Studies and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.

Rachel has always had a passion for helping others which is why she spent the last 10 years working in the law field. Working in law exposed her to the complexities of life, developing her belief that change, growth and healing is possible if individuals are supported with compassion, empathy, and non-judgement. This belief has become her therapeutic approach, along with recognizing and valuing that each client is unique, making the therapy process unique. Rachel will walk alongside clients through their challenges and suffering, hold a space for healing, and help clients move towards a life more in alignment with meaning and purpose.

Rachel embraces the experiential, humanistic and psychodynamic therapy models, but will infuse elements from a variety of therapy models based on the client’s needs and desired outcomes. Rachel provides individual therapy (18+) for divorce/separation, co-parenting and parenting challenges, infidelity/betrayal, difficult life transitions, grief/loss, anger and stress management, anxiety, depression, low self esteem, trauma/relational trauma, and existential concerns such as identity, purpose, meaning and mortality.

Specialties: Couples counselling, women’s mental health, post-partum mental health challenges, infertility, PCOS, endometriosis, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, adhd, grief.

Relationships — whether with others or with ourselves — can be both deeply fulfilling and deeply challenging. I help individuals and couples navigate moments of disconnection, uncertainty, and change to find greater clarity, balance, and connection. Whether you’re struggling with communication issues, recovering from infidelity, managing conflict, coping with anxiety or depression, or simply hoping to feel more grounded and understood, I offer a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore what’s not working and move toward meaningful growth.

My approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing from evidence-based methods such as the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. This allows me to tailor each session to your unique relationship dynamics, balancing practical skill-building with deeper emotional understanding. Together, we’ll work to uncover the patterns that keep you stuck and develop new ways to connect, communicate, and repair.

In addition to relationship and emotional wellness, I have a special interest in supporting women navigating hormonal and reproductive health challenges, including PMDD, postpartum transitions, PCOS, endometriosis, and chronic pain. These experiences often impact emotional well-being, identity, and relationships in profound ways. My goal is to help clients understand and honor the mind-body connection, build self-compassion, and feel empowered in their healing journey.

I believe that both individuals and couples have the capacity to heal, grow, and thrive — even when the path forward feels uncertain. My role is to guide you through that process with empathy, honesty, and a steady presence, helping you build resilience, communicate more effectively, and deepen your emotional connection with yourself and others.

Change doesn’t happen overnight, but with commitment and compassion, it is absolutely possible. If you’re ready to take the next step toward greater well-being and or more fulfilling relationships, I would be honored to walk alongside you on that journey.
