Maria-Ashley is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She completed her Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a diploma in General Arts and Science with a focus on Organizational Behaviour.
Maria-Ashley has extensive experience supporting individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges. She has provided emotional support through a distress line, assisting individuals in navigating anxiety, depression, and life stressors. Maria-Ashley works with individuals, young adults, teens, and children (6+). Her areas of focus include: anxiety & depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), life transitions & stress, perfectionism & body image, self-confidence & self-esteem and more.
Maria-Ashley is known for her empathetic approach, keen observational skills, and ability to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. She is passionate about helping individuals develop self-awareness, build resilience, and work toward meaningful change in their lives. She strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences with openness and curiosity. Her approach is compassionate, client-centred, and collaborative, recognizing that each person’s journey is unique.
