Our Team
Behind Therapy Heals is a team of registered, experienced clinicians who genuinely like working together. We share referrals, consult on tough cases, and hold each other to a high standard of care. When you join, you are not a name on a directory: you are part of a clinical community that has your back.
Everything You Need To Know
We are always looking for well-experienced therapists to join our team. We seek experienced therapists with a Master's degree in a related field who are registered with a related College in Ontario.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in psychotherapy, social work, counselling, psychology, or a related field
- Registration in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), or eligibility for registration
- Professional liability insurance
- Availability for at least one evening or weekend shift per week
- A collaborative, client-centred approach to therapy and a commitment to high-quality, evidence-informed care
- Experience or additional training in one or more of the following areas is considered an asset, but not required: Couples counselling, EMDR, CBT, Child and Youth Counselling
Responsibilities (virtual vs In person)
Therapy Heals is committed to supporting therapists in building and growing their caseloads. As an independent contractor, you'll also play an active role in maintaining your caseload by offering both in-person and virtual appointments and setting an availability that meets client needs.
Therapists are responsible for maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation and practising in accordance with the standards of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), as applicable.
In-person therapists provide services from one of our six clinic locations on agreed-upon days, while virtual therapists meet securely with clients across Ontario.
Compensation & Benefits
At Therapy Heals, we provide the support and infrastructure so you can focus on what matters most, providing exceptional care to your clients. We take care of referrals, client inquiries, initial bookings, direct billing, and administrative support.
We offer a competitive per-session fee that is reviewed regularly. There are no administrative fees, room rental fees, or other practice fees to pay. Payments are made by direct deposit following submission of your monthly invoice.
