Registered Psychotherapy in Vaughan & Maple

If you're looking for therapy near you in Vaughan, you've found the right place.
Our Vaughan clinic is part of Therapy Heals, a registered psychotherapy and counselling practice with six locations across Ontario and a team of therapists who each bring specific training, a genuine commitment to their work, and the kind of warmth that makes a real difference. Every therapist on our team is registered with the CRPO or OCSWSSW, which means they've met the education, supervised practice, and ethical standards required by their professional college. That's not a formality; it reflects a commitment to safe, ethical, and professional care.

We know that deciding to start therapy, or to try again after a bad experience, isn't always easy. You might not be sure if what you're carrying is 'bad enough.' You might be worried about opening something up and feeling overwhelmed by it. You may have tried therapy before and didn't feel like the therapist was the right fit. All of that is completely understandable, and it's something we think about when supporting every new client.

Below are some of the concerns our Vaughan therapists most commonly support. If you don't see what you're looking for, please don't let that stop you from reaching out. Our therapists work with a wide range of concerns, and we'll do our best to connect you with someone who's the right fit for your needs.

Areas We Support

Areas We Support in Vaughan

People come to therapy in Vaughan for all kinds of reasons; everyone is unique, and so is our approach to each client. You might arrive in a crisis; you might arrive quietly, or carrying something you have been managing alone for longer than you should. Our Vaughan team works across a wide range of concerns, from everyday anxiety and low mood to family difficulties and longer-term individual healing. Whatever has brought you here, there is a therapist who can work with it. If you are not sure where to start, that is fine too. We will help you figure that out.

Trauma, Depression & Anxiety Therapy in Vaughan

Many people in the Vaughan area seek trauma, anxiety, and depression therapy. Our therapists use a variety of evidence-based approaches, tailoring therapy to your unique needs and preferences, so you receive care that's right for you.

  • Trauma can affect the way you think, feel, relate to others, and experience the world around you. Whether your experiences stem from a single event or ongoing adversity, our therapists provide compassionate, evidence-based care to help you process what you've been through, reduce distress, and move toward healing.
  • Anxiety can show up as constant worry, overthinking, panic, difficulty relaxing, or feeling overwhelmed by everyday life. Therapy can help you better understand your anxiety, build resilience and confidence, and develop new ways of responding to anxious thoughts, feelings, and uncertainty.
  • Depression rarely announces itself. It often creeps in gradually and doesn't always look the way people expect. It can show up as exhaustion, losing interest in the things you once enjoyed, irritability, or simply getting through each day.

Our therapists provide compassionate, evidence-based support to help you understand what's happening and find a path forward.

Couples Therapy & Marriage Counselling in Vaughan

Every relationship goes through difficult times. The strongest relationships aren't the ones without challenges, they're the ones with the tools to navigate them. Couples therapy gives you and your partner a space to be heard, better understand your patterns, and strengthen your connection. Our Vaughan therapists provide couples therapy, marriage counselling, and premarital counselling for partners experiencing conflict, communication difficulties, trust issues, emotional distance, life transitions, or preparing for marriage. With many therapists trained in the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we're here to help you move forward together

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) in Vaughan

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) helps people who experience emotions that feel intense, overwhelming, or difficult to manage. It teaches practical skills for navigating distress, understanding and responding to emotions, improving relationships, and coping more effectively with life's challenges. Several of our Vaughan therapists use DBT to help clients build confidence, resilience, and a greater sense of balance, without asking them to feel less.
