Sue is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from York University and a Child and Youth Worker Diploma from Centennial College.

Sue has more than 20 years of experience working with children, youth and families in a variety of settings, helping them to live their best lives. Sue works in the field of children’s mental health and has developed expertise to effectively support her clients with the struggles of parenting, understand and repair relationship issues, understand emotional difficulties and help children experience success at home, school and childcare.

Sue is committed to helping others live life to their fullest potential by addressing the challenges they are experiencing. She believes in building a therapeutic relationship that is respectful, genuine and meaningful, while collaboratively creating strategies and solutions. She believes that children, youth and families are the experts in their lives and offers them the opportunity to explore and reflect on their journey to build resilience and begin to move towards their hopes and dreams.

Sue works from an integrated, strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective, using principles from various therapeutic modalities such as attachment theory, life span development, early years, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy and cognitive behavioural strategies and techniques. Sue believes that clients access therapy for a variety of reasons, and her approach is to draw upon their strengths and develop interventions that best fit each individual’s needs.
